ABSTRACT
Intellectual property stands as a driving force towards the attainment of several Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Among several IPRs, Copyright resonates with SDGs to provide a sustainable future for all. However, several factors are plaguing this space. Emerging technologies have made it more difficult. Copyright offers protection to those who have expended a huge amount of energy into creating innovative solutions for sustainable practices as well as a greener future. In a bid to uncover the relationship between Copyright and Sustainable Development Goals, this paper examines the legal framework, historical background and intersection between Copyright and SDGs. It further recommends solutions to curb future challenges.
