The UK spent most of 2020 in lockdown. To begin with, the courts were closed. Once they reopened, there was a shift towards largely remote hearings by video and telephone. But litigation life has gone on and there were plenty of notable and interesting trade mark judgments from the UK courts in a year which we might otherwise prefer to forget.
