‘Adverse Possession and Reasonable Belief’

As we all know, the Land Registration Act 2002 changed the law of adverse possession, making it much harder for adverse possessors to gain a good title. You have to apply to register your ownership under paragraph 1 of Schedule 6 to the Land Registry, who in turn will notify the registered owner.
