ABSTRACT
This thesis describes the frictions occurring when determining parental liability for cartel damages. It does so by examining parental liability in EU Competition law and Dutch corporate law. Subsequently it is revealed that due to case law of the European Court of Justice, the EU system for piercing the corporate veil has been incorporated in Dutch liability law, in cases of cartel damages claims.
