Private Law Theory

The late Professor Emeritus Brian Coote generously bequeathed the largest gift by a staff member to the University of Auckland Waipapa Taumata Rau. Part of his legacy is to establish the Coote Chair in Private Law. We are seeking to appoint an outstanding scholar with excellent interpersonal skills who will make a significant contribution to their sub-discipline of Private Law, as well as the academic and broader community across New Zealand and internationally.
